We’ve noticed couples (and even some photographers) using the words editorial and candid almost interchangeably — but they’re actually very different styles.

Rome: Bold, Stoic, and Editorial
This particular shoot took us through the romantic streets of Rome, a city built on drama and grandeur. It was the perfect setting for a couple with an editorial, fashion-forward vibe.
We photographed them in front of the powerful Fontana dell’Acqua Paola, shared sweeping skyline views with a vintage Fiat 500, embraced the statues and drama of Ponte Sant’Angelo with Castel Sant’Angelo towering behind, and closed with iconic portraits at the Colosseum.
Their expressions were strong, stoic, and refined — more fashion magazine than smiley portrait session — and the city amplified that energy. Every frame was structured, bold, and elevated… exactly the kind of editorial artistry that belongs in print.
